LIGHTING - New Options for Arrangements

So many products allow us to light up our floral arrangements in new and inventive ways.

This cut glass container is being lit from the bottom by the new

        E-Mini-Luminator

a 4" base filled with bright white LEDs that uplights the facets beautifully. The base is powered by three AA batteries and will stay lit for 8 to 16 hours depending on the quality of the batteries used.  Alkaline will insure the longest use.

The surface of the plastic base is soft to insure that whatever you place on it will not slide off.

The Acolyte company keeps coming up with new ways to sneak lighting into small spaces. Tiny FloraLytes are less than one inch long and fit in the smallest spaces but pack a big punch in light and color.  FloraLyte II is the improved version with on/off capability for longer lasting use.

In many venues now, concern over fire hazards prevents us from using live flames.  No problem when we can have battery powered votives that even flicker like the real thing!  The six-pack of reusable votives have flickering yellow flame-topped LEDs. Safer than candles but lend the same ambience. 1 3/8" diameter and 1 7/8" tall. They come with three button cell batteries installed in each votive and on/off switches for longer battery life.

And FloraLyte even provides us with a white submersible light, great for use in clear containers. The base twists to turn it on and off.

For arrangements or for corsages, the Corsage Illuminator, a fiber-optic white light with on/off switch and two small watch batteries that allow you to use it over and over.   Click on this corsage image to see a larger photo.
